Accessibility
I want this site to be usable by as many people as possible, whatever device, browser, or assistive technology you’re using.
Last reviewed: 9 June 2026.
Standard I’m aiming for
This site targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. I treat this as an ongoing commitment rather than a finished box to tick.
What’s in place
- Semantic, structured HTML so the content makes sense to screen readers
- Full keyboard navigation, with visible focus states on interactive elements
- Respect for your system preferences, including
prefers-reduced-motionandprefers-color-scheme - Colour contrast chosen to remain legible in both light and dark themes
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
Accessibility controls
There’s an accessibility panel in the site header that lets you tailor the reading experience to suit you. From it you can adjust the text size and spacing, and reduce motion. Your choices are remembered as you move around the site.
Found a barrier?
If something gets in your way, or you need content in a different format, I’d genuinely like to hear about it. Email hello@adam.mwwith the page and what went wrong, and I’ll do my best to put it right.
