I’ve spent my career moving between two worlds that, to me, have always been one. On one side: the camera — patient, observational, chasing light and the quiet story in a frame. On the other: software and systems — the architecture, the automation, the products that scale an idea past a single pair of hands.
As a builder, I’ve founded and shaped companies from first principles — turning rough ideas into shipped products and real businesses. I care about the whole arc: the strategy, the engineering, the design, and the discipline of actually getting something into the world.
Lately, much of my focus is on applied AI — building agents, tooling, and pragmatic products that use machine intelligence where it genuinely earns its place, not where it’s merely fashionable. I’m most interested in the unglamorous engineering that makes these systems dependable.
And always, underneath it all, photography. It’s how I see — the practice that keeps the rest honest. This site is where those threads meet: the frames, the writing, and the work.
